Hello there! I am a multimedia journalist. Why? Because I like to present immersive information to the readers in a visually creative and easy-to-read manner, how do I do that? By presenting information in a variety of formats, such as gamification of an issue, podcasting, interactive documentaries, immersive VR and augmented reality storytelling, interactive data stories, animated stories, stories through comic strips or memes, storytelling through drone and many more ways. Does all of this matter? Wouldn't you want your audience to remember the information that you presented to them for a longer period of time? If the same information were presented in a creative and user-interacting manner, then the reader would definitely want to look at it more. If this happens, then it definitely matters.
